Welcome to the home of Aeolus Salukis and Whippets! Aeolus (pronounced AAA-oo-lus) was the greek ruler of the winds. We strive to produce dogs that are strong in both form and function. Form: Grace and symmetry in the show ring coupled with solid lines and strong, balanced movement that conform to the American Kennel Club standards. Function - Ability to possess the agility, power, and instincts displayed in the field and in performance events.
We are Kevin & Dawn Carlson. We met in 1998 and are now married and settled living on 5 1/2 acres in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our home was built for the comfort of our dogs and they certainly enjoy being able to stretch their legs on the 3+ acres that is fenced for them.

* Tori made the cut in a competitive 12-18 month class and Lacey made the cut in Best of Breed at the 2012 AWC National Specialty!
* George wins WD/BOW/BOB over two specials and Hound Group 2 under breeder judge Judy Newton at the Kennel Club of Yorkville Show and follows it up by winning WD/BOW/BOB over a special the second day under Dana Cline for two 3 pt majors!
*Lacey wins Best of Breed under Dana Cline at the Kennel Club of Yorkville shows in a line up of some beautiful bitch specials!
March 2012 -
* Tori - reserve to a 4 pt major that her littersister won at the Wisconsin Kennel Club show
* George wins WD for a 3 pt major under Richard Hilderman - Wisconsin KC
* Olivia (Payton's littermate) wins WB at her first show for 2 pts and then follows it up with a 3 pt major - Wisconsin KC
February 2012 -
* Tori wins Winners Bitch 3 times for 2 pts each (6 in total) at the International Kennel Club cluster.
*George wins WD for 2 points under Randy Garren at the International Kennel Club show
* George wins Best Bred By in the Hound Group at the International Kennel Club show under Luis Sosa
January 2012 -
* George wins a 3 pt major at 6 months of age his first weekend in the ring at the Chain O'Lakes Kennel Club Show. Thank you breeder judge Eugene Blake for this exciting recognition!
* Tori goes Best of Winners for 2 pts at the Park Shore Kennel Club Show under hound authority Kent Delany.
